Brass

  • High machinability and dimensional accuracy for valves, fittings, and dosing components. No process porosity.
  • Good corrosion resistance in the presence of drinking water and food fluids.
  • Low-lead or lead-free alloys are available that comply with the latest regulatory requirements for contact with water intended for human consumption (e.g., CW510L, CW511L).
  • Excellent sealing in threaded connections and fluid distribution systems due to the lack of porosity.

Aluminum

  • Low weight, useful for packaging and handling machinery.
  • Excellent thermal conductivity for exchangers and cooling systems.
  • Good corrosion resistance thanks to the natural oxide layer.
  • EN AW-6060 and EN AW-6082 series alloy an be used for structural components.
